ART CONCEPT
Mathilda is an artist that paints dreams with a colorful brushstroke of illusion, where reality participates but with a distinct blueprint. Rhythm, movement and energy flow through her pieces, all infused with a strong naive character. Within her, different women and journeys coexist - and a channel of expression opens wide, embracing ocean depths, sunrises and the volatility of the sky. She is a handful of stars and hearts. Mathilda creates universes where nature and hope are crucial.
Her artwork is largely exported to Germany, Spain, France, England and the USA. She has been in several International Art Fairs as ArtWeek Chile, Spectrum Miami, MasterArt Fair Uruguay, Artexpo NY y BADA Argentina. She is also the author of a podcast called “Historias de Arte by Mathilda” (Art stories by Mathilda), winner of the Argentine Podcast Festival (FAP), available on Spotify and YouTube.
In her role as culture coordinator and hostess at the artistic hub at Al Diablo Café, she holds monthly exhibitions and invites artists to events such as “Arte en Vivo” (Live art), “Workshops de Arte y Vino” (Wine & Art Workshops), “Arte y Café” (Coffee & Art), among others."
ABOUT
From a young age, Mathilda’s illustrations have brought colorful worlds to life. Her sketches captured childhood moments with genuine sensitivity and eagerness to explore and communicate. She’s got a Bachelor’s degree in Art teaching (drawing and painting) from the Argentine Conservatory Fracassi, and was trained in different studios under the lead of prestigious artists like Celina Aguilar, Josefina Torqui and Luis Álvarez. Mathilda creates large format artwork, mainly made of asphalt and a unique combination of acrylic.
