Vision I - II

Vision I - II

Vision I – II explores time through the sense of sight. Conceived as a diptych, the work is a visual metaphor for human vision, representing both eyes and their horizontal orientation. Through this dual perspective, Cris invites us to reflect on how time is formed—and distorted—by our sensory perception.
Each canvas functions as an independent eye, with complementary chromatic structures that engage in silent dialogue. Fragmentation and continuity intertwine, creating a visual field that echoes binocular experience: two visions that, when combined, form a single perceived reality.
Colors expand horizontally, mimicking the way our gaze encompasses space. Thus, time is not presented as a straight line but as a mutable image shaped by focus, distance, and angle. Vision I – II invites us to reconsider the act of seeing as a way of experiencing time—subjective, dual, and constantly transforming.
