YASUHIRO KASAMATZU

1983, Graduated University of Tokyo, department of Literature majored in Aesthetics 1995, composed music for “Hamlet” directed by Yukio Ninagawa 2000, composed and performed music for “Greeks” directed by Yukio Ninagawa 2005, composed and performed music for Kabuki,”Ninagawa Twelfth Night”, in Tokyo, Osaka, Hakata, London. 2003~5, composed, and conducted Opera “Elektra Trilogy” at Oji hall in Tokyo, and in other cities. 2010, composed and conducted ”Yotsuya Kaidan” at Tokyo culture center, and other cities. 2019, composed “Little Mermaid” English version and had it performed at White Hall in Vienna. 2022, composed Musical” The Snow Queen” for the 25th anniversary of Fukui Prefectural Music Hall Selected as a cultural envoy of Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japanese government, and visited Equator, Algentina, Chili, Peru, England, and Austria and had concerts of his music with musicians in each place.
