She has strengthened her artistic experience and her work as a teacher researcher for several years in the area of piano performance, and theoretical areas of music in different technological and university institutions in Colombia and Ecuador. She works permanently in the field of pedagogical research related to Neuroscience, Education and Piano Performance, earning her various publications in important scientific and academic journals, as well as various invitations as a teacher in Master Class and speaker, at important events on Neuroscience and Musical Education in countries such as Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, the United States, Spain, Brazil, Peru, Cuba and Mexico.
Since 2021 she was integrated into the Giuseppe Verdi Musical Society of Mexico as a Pianist and Researcher under folio 026-A; She is part of the Editorial Team of the Scientific Journal PsiQuia Journal (Guatemala) and also a member of the NeuroED Neuroscience Research Group of the National University of Education of Ecuador. She was the Academic Vice-Rector and Coordinator of the Research Commission of the José María Rodríguez Higher Conservatory of Cuenca, where she currently works as a Research Professor in the departments of Piano, Complementary Piano, Harmony, and Counterpoint.
ABOUT
Pianist of Colombian origin and Ecuadorian naturalization, graduated from the National University of Colombia, with a specialization in Pedagogical Research; Master in Neuropsychology and Education, PhD in Education and Innovation, and student of the Master in Neuromusic.
Within her artistic career she has worked as a guest solo pianist in various countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, France, United States, Ecuador, among others, in various cultural halls and theaters of great importance. He has received various awards for his artistic and pedagogical work, among which the following stand out: the First Prize awarded by the District Institute of Bolivar (Colombia) as "Best Performer" in the first Call for "Awards and Scholarships for the Encouragement and Research in Artistic Creation", in addition to the declaration of "Guest of Honor" of the city of Villavicencio, Colombia, with the presentation of the keys to the city within the framework of the International Joropo Festival.
